My sister called the other night... the officer we speak to about the pending case against my husband told her that only her daughter made any disclosures, and everything will be written up for the prosecuting attorney to review. He told her it will be mid NOVEMBER before he decides whether or not to bring Omar up on charges, and that if nothing is done by then, he'd "go over and light a fire under them." I'm sorry, WHAT?! They're already ruining our lives, now we have to wait a month more just to find out whether or not they're going to bother to try and press charges?? Both my sister and I are disgusted with how long this is taking, and on top of that, the damned detective had the sheer nerve to tell my sister that I'm very angry with her! I'm not angry with her, I'm angry with HIM! They tell me one thing and her another, they try and pit us against each other, and they're dragging their asses on the case. I swear, some people! Anyway, my sister and I talked about it, and regardless of the outcome, we still plan on being close. Yes, initially, I was very upset with my sister, she agreed she'd have been upset with me if the situation were reversed. But, come what may, we're going to stick together.

Also, it may surprise several of you to know, I'm going to try and work things out with Omar. His absence has been a wakeup call. We may not be in love, but we are a good team, and our daughter needs him as much as he needs her. No sense in breaking up the team just because there's no love, when there's everything else we need. Wish me luck, if you care.


GAAAAAAAH!!!!!!! I was typing and a huge damned water spider crawled from out of nowhere on my hand, then off to my keyboard! I chased it along the desk trying to kill it after my freakout fest, but it was too fast, so it's still around here somewhere!!! Stupid f'ing spider!!! I used my canned air dust remover to blow around the area under my rollout keyboard tray since that's where it crawled to, hopefully blew it well away. Stupid f'ing spiders!!!! Gah, it was HUGE!!! Ok, sorry, freakout fest over... -shivers with supreme willies- Holy mack, it ended up BEHIND me! My daughter just shouted "SPIDER!!" and I turn around, and it's on the damned floor halfway across the room, the opposite direction from where I used the can of air! Little f'er! I smashed the everlovin' daylights out of him! Grrrrrrr! Ok, NOW the freakout fest is over...
