California Dreamin'

I've been designing flash art for years, many friends getting my designs put on various parts of their bodies, but I had never been satisfied with any of them for my own skin until a couple of months ago, when I designed this one. If I'm going to be 80 years old and sporting ink, I want to like it just as much then as I do now. I was in California when I drew this, on paper with ink, originally, but I decided to see if I could recreate the sketch using MS Paint. I did one hell of a good job, I must say. (EDIT: I have updated this dev for print quality, using the original sketch. If you want to see the MS Paint version described above, note me.)

This tattoo is for the small of my back, the bottom point starting just above the, er... well, where my back ends and backside begins. (no, you don't get to see) I like this tat so well, I'm currently making a wallpaper of it superimposed over a photo I took at Del Mar beach in Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, CA. Then the tat and the portion of the beach you see will be superimposed over another pic I took of a row of palm trees on the same base.
